The Salvation Army - United Kingdom with the Republic of Ireland
We don't judge or condemn, we just help. Family breakdown, unemployment, poverty, homelessness, and drug and alcohol dependency are just some of the reasons why people can lose everything they value, including their dignity. The Salvation Army has a long history of working with people who are vulnerable and marginalised across the world. We offer very practical help, unconditional assistance and support regardless of race, religion, gender or sexual orientation.

About the theme:
We want these designs to take on the role of a snapshot in time representing the 21st century and showing what is going on.
How did we come up with the idea to design flags? One morning, we realised that we can organise our own day relatively well - quite in contrast to the soldiers. While we master our daily life, the soldiers of many nations often don't know whether or not they will return to their base safely. We especially want to honour the soldiers for their service, as they are ready to give their life and take a loss for the safety of our country and their country of deployment.
- That's what we want to express with this T-shirt.
- This message is true for all flags and all nations which stand up for peace.
Info
In contrast to the other armed forces (Royal Navy, Royal Air Force), the British Army does not carry "Royal" in its name due to their traditional links to parliament. Since 1962, the British Army has solely consisted of volunteers.1
Germany is the British armed forces' biggest military base outside Great Britain. The units placed in Germany are referred to as the British Forces Germany (BFG). Despite a significant reduction in troops since the end of the Cold War, there are still around 19,100 British soldiers stationed in Germany By 2014, this number is to be reduced to around 18,5002
