That's how your donation helps: MISEREOR's partners rescue innocent and falsely imprisoned children and adolescents and enable them to rejoin school. They provide loans to the families of those children and support small farms to create a livelihood through mango farming.

About the theme:
We want these designs to take on the role of a snapshot in time representing the 21st century and showing what is going on.
How did we come up with the idea to design flags?
One morning, we realised that we can organise our own day relatively well - quite in contrast to the soldiers. While we master our daily life, the soldiers of many nations often don't know whether or not they will return to their base safely. We especially want to honour the soldiers for their service, as they are ready to give their life and take a loss for the safety of our country and their country of deployment.
That's what we want to express with this T-shirt.
This message is true for all flags and all nations which stand up for peace.

Around 2,750 soldiers of the German armed forces are currently deployed abroad. They operate together with troops from allied and friendly nations. Why does Germany take part in foreign mission? Over the years, the security situation has completely changed (Cold war is over, reunification of Germany, responsibility has increased). Therefore developments outside the European security zone could require prompt action and perhaps over large distances. That is the reason why German armed forces take part in foreign missions.
